A worker uses the Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL .NET v3 SDK with no application-level retry loop. For HTTP 429 responses, configure the SDK to allow five transmissions including the initial attempt and a cumulative retry-wait budget of 12 seconds, with either limit able to stop further retries. Network execution time is outside this waiting budget.
